Recent Accomplishments: Taught basic computer skills to 15 individuals; provided After School Program for homework assistance and basic skills improvement for 12 children; held School Awards Banquet to recognize and motivate children to be good students; provided services to the Sudanese community including referral to health care providers, translator services through interfacing with schools, government, police, medical providers, courts, etc.

Goals for 2011: Continue and grow the After School Program for children; provide English As A Second Language classes for adults, particularly targeting women with children by offering free child care; obtain a dependable van to transport children and adults to the programs and classes; provide Citizenship classes for adults; continue to provide language translators between the non-English speaking Sudanese and the local community; and to teach computer skills to adults and children.
